Is mass media a tool or a weapon? This interactive sculptural work and video challenges the idea of what makes a tool usable and what it means to regard mass media as neutral when many nefarious interests limit what is shown and shared on news cycles. This is now encroaching into social media sites affecting social behavior. Through a playful creation of a new tool, this work creates the brief possibility to tune out all screens totally with the use of polarised film, allowing the viewer to disengage completely with electronic devices.
